1955 Press Photo Retiring Long-Time Kreeger Store Employees Congratulated

Two long-time employees of Kreeger Store, Incorporated, 805 Canal, are congratulated on their retirement by Armand Kreeger, president, left. They are Mrs. Fannie Giardina, 1514 Broad, who started work at the store as cashier and wrapper in 1918, and Lucien Jaufre, 702 North Alexander, who began as a stock boy in 1900. They're retiring on pension as corset department manager, and store superintendent, respectively. Mr. Armand Kreeger, president, Kreeeger's Store, Canal Street Mrs. "Fanny" Giardina, retiring. Started work at Kreeger's July 10th, 1918. Lr. Lucien Jaufre, retiring. Started work at Kreeger's September 17th, 1900.
