General Walter Krueger, commander of the U.S. Sixth Army which spearheaded General MacArthur's Pacific offensives in World War II, sits at his desk in his San Antonio, Texas home, where he has lived since retiring four years ago. Confident of victory in Korea, Krueger said, "Give General MacArthur the forces he needs and he will handle the Korean situation."
