Colonel Robert E. M. Goolrick, left, commanding officer of Keesler Field, Mississippi, inspects the new official insignia recently painted on his plane. The insignia, conceived and drawn by Cpl. Kay Chin, right, of Portland, Oregon, won first prize in a post wide contest fo ra station emblem symbolic of the training and activities of Keesler Field's AAF Training Command station.
