The W.R. Grace Company, shipping firm. will resume direct freight and passenger service between New Orleans and South American ports by the end of November due to the big business pick-up in the United States, J. Peter Grace, Jr., executive of the firm said yesterday when he arrived in the city by plane. This will be the only direct service operating out of New Orleans to the West coast of South America, with various ports of call at Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Chile. The company operated the Norsa Line here before the depression of 1933. The amount of business will determine whether the service will be weekly or fortnightly.
