Jim Fuchs wins discus throw at Pan-American Games Buenos Aires, Argentine. Discus Throw was won by North American Jimmy Fuchs of Chicago, at the first Pan-American games being held at Buenos Airs. He hurled the platter a distance of 48.91 meters. A meter and half better than his teammate Doyle. Elvio Porta of Argentina took third honors.
