Mining - A weak force of miners at the South Wilkes-Barre Colliery enter a shaft the day after their local voted by a narrow margin to return to work. Only about one-third of the 1,400 men employed at the Colliery -- one of the largest involved in the strike -- turned out for the meeting where it was voted 230 to 226 to return to work, today. Three large operations decided to stay on strike in spite of the report that President Roosevelt is planning action to end the industrial tie-up
