Artist Douglas Chandor (above) whose portraits of Queen Elizabeth, Winston Churchill, the Duke of Windsor and scores of other notables brought fame and fortune to this Texas town, died 1/13 following a cerebral hemorrhage. He is shown above with his recent portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
