1938 Press Photo Heywood Broun Denies Accusation of Communist Affiliation

After listening to testimony which associated him with the Communist "United Front," Heywood Broun, noted columnist, read a prepared statement before the dies Committee investigating Un-American activities in which he denied that he is or ever was a Communist. Concluding his statement, Broun told the committee that it was wasting its time.
