Description
Mardi Gras, New Orleans, Carnival. Irene Ramon, Roosevelt Traveling and Tourist Service employee, shows folders about the sights of New Orleans to Mr. and Mrs. Mac Schneff of Le Mars, Iowa. The northern couple thought they would miss the cold weather by making a Carnival trip to New Orleans. Today's comparative balminess, they figure, was made for taking a jaunt through the French Quarter.

Photo is dated 1951.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
