Zydiak, 47-year-old real estate salesman, talks with 10-year-old Janet Davis, right, and her sister, Patricia, 8, in Mobile, Alabama about the day in 1965 when he saved the girls from drowning at Gulf Shores, Alabama. Zydiak was awarded a bronze medal by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission.
