A jet flies above the stainless steel Gateway Arch, St. Louis. The stainless steel Gateway Arch at the side of the Mississippi river symbolizes the modernity and new aspect of downtown St. Louis. The Gateway to the West is given major credit for a revitalization of the area whose rebirth is apparent in the new buildings representing an investment of more than $200 million.
