Description
Cambridge, Massachusetts, November 10 - Faces jail - Samuel L. Popkin, an assistant professor of government at Harvard University, chats with his wife Susan in their Cambridge apartment Friday. The Supreme Court allowed the jailing of Popkin, who refused to tell a federal grand jury in Boston what he might know about publication of the "Pentagon Papers." He had asked for a reprieve while he appealed the contempt judgement. Popkin said "If I have to go to jail, I will hold a press conference first."
