1972 Press Photo Budapest's Margit Rapatyi, jockey, goes through paces

Description
Sixteen-year-old Margit Rapatyi of Budapest, Hungary, goes through some paces with one of her mounts. She is the country's first professional woman jockey. Margi now sports the striped blouse of the Pillar stable at Budapest's central race course. She says "My first race wasn't much of a success, but they'll get better."
