1968 Press Photo Marine Pfc. Robert Mussari reunited with family in Olyphant, PA

Ten days ago, Marine Pfc. Robert Mussari, 19, of Olyphant, near Scranton, Pennsylvania, had a Viet Cong mortar warhead in his abdomen when he was carried into a Vietnam bunker. The live shell part was removed in an emergency operation. Yesterday, Mussari had a joyful reunion with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mussari, and his girl friend, Cheryl Taylor. Said his father: "I'm so proud of you son, I could burst."
