1963 Press Photo William Porter holds objects dropped from Navy plane in CA

San Francisco police officer William Porter holds non-explosive 25-pound bomb and tail fin which fell into middle of Market Street during noon hour rush today. No one was injured although bomb fragments and pieces of asphalt flew over wide area breaking a window on seventh floor of nearby IBM building. The bomb, which Navy officials said accidentally dropped from one of their reserve planes, struck street in front of the IBM building at Market and Front Streets.
