Maharajkumar Thondup Namgyal, the Crown Prince of Sikkim, and his bride, New York socialite Hope Cooke, are shown during their wedding in the royal Buddhist chapel at Gangtok, Sikkim, in the Himalayas yesterday. The groom sat cross-legged on a three-foot throne with the bride on a slightly lower platform. He wore a yellow-brocaded silk jacket and orange silk gown. The bride wore the traditional mokey, or wrap-around gown of Sikkim's Lepeha women
