Description
Erik Preminger, 26, son of the late stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, watches as a drawing of his late mother is sold during auction of her estate in Hollywood Wednesday night. Erik, whose adoption by film director Otto Preminger, his father, was approved earlier in the day, said it was "very depressing" to watch the auction. The drawing showing Gypsy seated before a typewriter, was used by Gypsy as her trademark. It sold for $1,100.

Photo is dated 1971.

Photo measures 10 x 7.75 inches.
