1963 Press Photo Charles Porter outlines Cuban prisoner release to newsmen in FL

Former Congressman Charles O. Porter, of Eugene, Oregon, outlined to newsmen today his plans for going to Cuba later this week and appealing to Fidel Castro for the release of an estimated 75,000 political prisoners held in Cuba prisons. Porter said he plans staying in Cuba for 10 days and will be representing the American Association of Relatives of Cuban Prisoners.
