Lt. Colonel John A. (Shorty) Powers, known as the "voice" of United States Astronauts, said today he had "no comment" after reading a published report that he will resign, but indicated he possibly would have a statement on his future later in the week. Picture on wall is John Glenn who made the United States first orbital flight.
