Quello testifies before the Senate Commerce Committee on his nomination by President Nixon, for a post on the Federal Communications Commission during the first day of his confirmation hearings Wednesday in Washington. Quello is a retired Detroit broadcast executive who contributed $2,000 to Nixon's 1972 re-election campaign.
