Description
The White House released this photograph today. The lace handkerchief is something old for Luci Baines Johnson to carry to her wedding. It was made by her great-grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Ament Huffman Baines, in 1908. The Rosary is borrowed. It was given to Luci's sister, Lynda, by Pope John XXIII. The sixpence for the shoe is a gift from Adele Roscoe of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Something blue--a locket of gold on a blue ribbon. The locket has pictures of the bridegroom, Patrick J. Nugent, and his brother, Gerard Nugent, Jr., made when they were young children.

Photo is dated 1966.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
