Adlai Stevenson, just returned from a 10-nation Latin American trip, talks today with Chairman William Fulbright, D-AR, before reporting his findings at a closed door session of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Stevenson, United States Ambassador to the United Nations, cautioned against the imposition of severe restrictions on military aid to Latin American countries. Many of them will need patrol craft, helicopters and arms to protect their coast lines from Castro-exported communism, he said.
