Description
Robert Nazzaro, 18, left, thanks his lawyer, Frank Rossetti, after a New York judge and an assistant district attorney wiped out his criminal record so he could pursue an engineering career. Nazzaro, convicted three years ago as a teen-aged gunman after a street gang shooting fray, went on to finish high school while on probation. He later worked during the day and enrolled in night courses at New York university to obtain an engineering degree. When he learned his criminal record would block his chosen career, he appealed to the judge. The conviction was reversed in view of the youth's rehabilitation record.

Photo is dated 1962.

Photo measures 8 x 10 inches.
