Dick Lamm (left) and his running mate George Brown will take over the Governor's and Lt. Governor's office in Colorado. The Democratic team defeated incumbent Governor John Vanderhoof and Lt. Governor Ted Strickland. Brown is the first black ever elected Lt. Governor. The Lamm-Brown ticket had a 60,000 vote margin in their victory.
