Abel listens as George Meany, left, speaks to an AFL-CIO gathering in Pittsburgh Wednesday, where both labor heavyweights blasted President Ford's domestic and foreign policies. Both men appeared at a convention of the Industrial Union Department of the AFL-CIO, which represents about 5 1/2 million workers.
