Thomas C. Mann, President of Automobile Manufacturers Association; Dr. William Haddon, Director of National Traffic Safety Bureau, and Lowell K. Bridwell, federal highway administrator, left to right, talk prior to their meeting here today. They are attempting to iron out differences over proposed safety standard for 1968 cars--interior items such as the instrument panel, seat backs, sun visors, arm rests, door knobs and handles.
