Description
In 1957, the American Bar Association established a memorial to the Magna Carta on Runnymede meadow near the acre of land which will be ceded to the United States as a memorial to President Kennedy. During the 1957 ceremony when the memorial was dedicated by ABA officers, hundreds of British and Americans gathered. Cross denotes Runnymede meadow where Great Britain will cede an acre to honor the late President. It's about 20 miles southwest of London.
