Delegates wait in line for the microphone as a three-day filibuster finally collapsed Tuesday in New Orleans during a stormy Lutheran convention. Avowed conservatives finally pushed through a first step toward tightening its reigns on doctrinal teachings. A convention vice president called the long hassle "a Marathon."
