Wearing a wrinkled brow, Georgia Governor Lester Maddox rubs the side of his nose during Wednesday night's news conference at his Capitol office, the first he has called in almost four years as Governor Maddox said Governor-elect Jimmy Carter is engineering a "sinister, selfish, lustful move" to take control of the Georgia Senate. "It's ugly, it's mean, it's vicious, it's a betrayal. It's a brazen grab for power," Maddox said.
