South Carolina Senator Thomasine Mason, D-Clarendon, told fellow legislators last week when the Senate reapportionment committee presented their plan, that she will protest the results by joining others who disliked the plan with extended debates. The lady attorney will be the first woman to filibuster in the South Carolina state.
