Beaten and battered, a bleary-eyed Hurricane Jackson sags against the ropes as champion Floyd Patterson closes in for another attack which never came in 10th round of their 15-round world heavyweight title bout tonight. A second later, referee Ruby Golstein stepped to the aid of the pounded Jackson and stopped the bout with Patterson the winner and still champion.
