Taking their places at the bargaining table in Washington, D.C., for a Sunday session in an effort to end the dispute against two major rail systems are these negotiators. Included at the Labor Department meeting are (from left) J.P. Hiltz, Jr. chief industry negotiator George Ives, chairman of the National Mediation Board; Jim Searce, social assistant in the Labor Department, and Clyde Lane, bargaining commissioner of the United Transportation Union.
