Warren P. Knowles, Republican nominee for governor of Wisconsin, draws smiles from two nuns in Capitol Square, Madison, while on a campaign swing. The nuns were attending a Catholic Hospital Association meeting. Knowles, a veteran legislator and three times lieutenant governor, has been entrusted with the task of wresting the governorship from Democratic incumbent John W. Reynolds.
