Modern religious art reaches giant new dimensions in the just-completed mosaic "Christ in Majesty," within the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. With a figure of Christ believed to be the largest ever produced in mosaics, the work covers 3,610 feet of curving surface at the north Aspe of the Shrine, which is to be dedicated November 20th as the largest Catholic Church in the United States.
