1962 Press Photo Washington Daily News reporter Tomy Kelly after general's wrath

Tomy Kelly, reporter for the Washington Daily News, poses today after Edwn Walker, retired Army Major General took a swing at him outside a Senate hearing room. Kelly said he "was not hurt" and added he did not try to retaliate. Walker, relieved of his Army command, wound up two days of stormy testimony and stepped from the room into a swarm of newsmen and photographers. Kelly asked a question, Walker swung and brushed the reporter aside.
