Egil "Bud" Krogh, Jr., who resigned Wednesday as undersecretary of the Department of Transportation amidst the Watergate-Pentagon Papers web of scandal, relaxes with the morning paper at his home Thursday. He resigned under pressure after taking full responsibility for sending burglars to rifle the files of a Los Angeles psychiatrist treating Daniel Ellsberg,a principal defendant in the Pentagon Papers trial.
