Harold Howe II, U.S. Commissioner of Education, says in an interview in Washington that the danger of segregated schools is that the U.S. might become a nation of separate races. He cites South Africa which has a policy of race segregation and says the U.S. might follow that path without really knowing it and without admitting it.
