A. Searle Field, staff director of the House Select Committee investigating U.S. intelligence agencies says he will recommend that the hearings be held under the strictest security conditions possible and that the hearings be closed. The 30-year-old former aide to U.S. Senator Lowell P. Weicker, Jr., R-CT, says the committee will focus on domestic intelligence and will investigate the FBI, CIA, IRS and National Security Agency.
