Description
Artist Peter Hurd is shown with a landscape painting, one of about 200 pictures which went on display in Columbus today in an exhibit which attracted most attention because it features a Hurd portrait of President Johnson which the President rejected. Hurd told a news conference the LBJ portrait was for sale. But he declined to pose for photographers with the painting, saying he didn't want to add fuel to the controversy.
