Consul Michael Hoyt, right, of Chicago, and his vice consul David K. Grinwis of Maplewood, New Jersey, at the State Department in Washington yesterday as they told of their 52 days as captives of Congo rebels, with three other members of the U.S. Consulate in Stanleyville, Hoyt said it was only fast action of the Belgian paratroop drop on Stanleyville on November 24 that saved his staff from execution slated for that day.
