Wilma Scott Heide, President of the National Organization for Women (NOW), has confirmed that she and her husband of 20 years, Eugene Heide, are getting a divorce. Mrs. Heide told newsmen at her home in Vernon, CT, yesterday: "It's true that my husband and I are not renewing our option this year by mutual consent."
