Tauny Marie Hanes, a 17-year-old senior at Terrebonne High School in Houma, was crowned queen of the second annual Louisiana Pecan Festival in Colfax Thursday night. Miss Hanes, chosen from among 23 contestants, says her ambition is to become a marine biologist.
