1967 Press Photo Actor Jack Hawkins works again after throat cancer

Actor Jack Hawkins plays part of a British Ambassador during shooting of the film "The Great Catherine" yesterday at Shepperton Studios near London. A year ago his larynx was removed because of cancer and now he speaks with the muscles of his throat. The 56-year-old Britisher says he considers himself a very lucky man because the cancer was caught before it spread.
