The man behind the swimming mask is Senator Barry Goldwater, the 1964 Republican Presidential nominee. The nominee put on the mask swimming in a pool at his Phoenix home today. Goldwater is spending the weekend in Phoenix getting a little rest and recreation after this past week's hectic GOP National Convention in San Francisco. He returned home last night and will leave Monday morning for Washington.
