It didn't take the new president of Tulane University, Dr. Sheldon Hackney, long to get his feet wet during a carnival at the school over the weekend. Carnival-goers paid as much as $11 for a shot at dunking the Birmingham, AL native who recently served as Provost at Princeton. Hackney was installed as the 12th President of Tulane last Thursday.
