Shown testifying before a Senate Banking and Currency subcommittee today, RFC Chairman John D. Goodloe told members that the RFC's history on veterans housing loans has been "disappointing." Largely because the public does not like the standardized look of prefabricated houses. He added that the public demand for a "different" look in homes grew so strong that several prefabricated house manufacturers had to hold up production until they retooled to provide "a variety of design."
