Mrs. Alexei Golub, wife of a defecting Russian chemist, is accompanied by the Soviet ambassador to the Netherlands, Panteleimon K. Penemarenke, right, and Dutch state police as she heads for plane at the Amsterdam airport and her flight home to Russia. Dutch police fought with Soviet officials at the airport today to prevent the departure of Mrs. Golub until they were certain that she was returning of her own free will.
