Senator Barry Goldwater embraces his wife, Peggy, in Phoenix, Arizona, last night before flying on to Washington to vote today on the medicare bill. He made a brief stop at Phoenix en route from California to Washington, and will return to Arizona today to open his campaign for the presidency as the Republican candidate in Prescott tomorrow.
