Fields, left, executive editor of the Constitution and the Atlanta Journal, and Jim Minter, Managing editor of the Constitution, announce Friday night in Atlanta that kidnappers had released Reg Murphy, editor of the newspaper. A $700,000 ransom was paid for release of Murphy who was kidnapped from his home Wednesday night.
