1971 Press Photo John Fretwell displaces his rattlesnake watchdogs for his shop

Description
John E. Fretwell, a partner in the Ace Air Control Company of Dallas displays one of the firm's watchdogs in front of the business last fall. The 20-pound rattlesnake is one of seven that were kept in the company's window in a cage and that could be seen by passersby. The snakes were caught on a hunt at Waurika, Oklahoma. Recently the Dallas fire department made the men remove the snakes since they would not enter the building in case of fire.
